PHIRI SICK AND TIRED OF LIVING AT THE BOTTOM OF A WORLD INFESTED WITH THE CANNIBALISTIC AFRICAN

Turn the world map upside down to see just how "high-on top" and how large Africa is, the Cradle of Humankind (with due courtesy for image)

There are many things that get my blood up such as the habit of quacks for political leaders who never bother to read South African history.  However, for my pet aversions let's leave the cake eaten by the bilious name: "Mzansi".

The name "Mzansi" (translated to "The Bottom") for "South Africa" should be banned and proscribed. It mothers an inferiority complex among South Africans since, as we know, the force of gravity pulls all filth down to the bottom. Now click the term 'inferiority complex' as highlighted above and it will take you to a dictionary definition of the term inclusive of the ['desire to overcompensate the sense of inadequacy'] and you get one more reason why fellow Africans who are from 'up above' in Africa are regularly attacked in xenophobic frenzies here in so-called Mzansi.

WATCH THE VIDEO BELOW, VERY VIOLENT THOUGH IT IS, AND DECIDE FOR YOURSELF IF IT DEPICTS THE DICTIONARY MEANING FOR AN ACT OF OVERCOMPENSATION (IF TRUE) BY A FEW NAIVE SOUTH AFRICANS CLEARLY MISPLACED IN THE SOUTH AFRICAN POLICE FORCE AGAINST A HAPLESS INDIVIDUAL REPORTED AS MOZAMBICAN AND THUS, FOR XENOPHOBES "HIGHER UP IN AFRICA AND COMING DOWN FROM MOZAMBIQUE TO OUR MZANSI FOR THE PURPOSE OF TRYING TO LORD IT OVER US TAKING OUR WOMEN,TAKING OUR JOBS, TAKING OUR TAXIS AND TAKING OUR ROADS"

"Mzansi" is the South African Zulu Language for "The Bottom". And so, South Africa, just like Australia, "is at the bottom of the world and should not be surprised to rank as one of the murder capitals of the world; to emerge as one of the worst countries in the mistreatment of women and children; to compete for a top spot among democracies with the least respect for human or individual rights; to feature as one of the countries with the greatest talents confounded by the least seriousness in sports matters, security combativeness and general athleticism where all these matter most".  BUT WHY SHOULD WE CARE AS NATION SOUTH AFRICA SINCE WE'RE AT EMZANSI, THE BOTTOM WHERE IN ANY CASE SCUM NEEDS MUST COLLECT, IF PER LAWS OF GRAVITY?

This concept or endearment of Mzansi must be killed together with the myth that South Africa does not have any original name of its own. South Africa is the oldest civilization in the world, the very cradle of human kind AND LIKE HELL THE REGION STANDS BEREFT OF ANY ORIGINAL NAME (and must for that reason always stay referred to by the compass: "South Africa").  "South Africa", if you ask this blog  author, is the best medicine for shirking responsibilities and finding scapegoats for own failures and weaknesses:

"No, our nation is not a failure in continental soccer, it is only the Continent South that is. 'South Africa'"

"No, our nation is not practising tribalism and black racism, it is only the Continent South that is. 'South Africa'"

"No, our nation is not replete with corruption at government level, it is only the Continent South that is. 'South Africa'"

"No, our nation is not a great believer in witchcraft to the extent that female virgins are believed to have the power of removing the HIV virus from a male sufferer who enters them, it is only the Continent South that is. 'South Africa'"

We are a self-denialist people, set in its ways wayward or not, a nation masquerading for a greatness that is collectively believed to come for free!  Small wonder  Mzekezeke, a South African artist renowned for his perpetual mask on stage, became an overnight and enduring hit along these shores.

I wonder how many of readers of this post knew that in the Zulu Language a literal translation of "South Africa" ("Ningizimu Afrika") means "THE LAND INFESTED WITH CANNIBALS".

So, instead of sitting on some pedestal in a porch as the example of humanity that civilized the rest of the the species , none other than fellow Africans to the north of the Continent (where the Zulus and Xhosas came from in less than a thousand years ago) viewed native South Africans as no better than CANNIBALS! ("And today I am going to rape me some cannibal's under-aged daughter in order to rid myself of my AIDS")

Whoever said colonialist Europe is the one and only one that created the inferiority complex lording it in the psyche of just too many South Africans (both black and white) must think again! The characteristic is innate: we apparently thrive best in a fool's paradise. Apartheid of the 20th Century was such a one Cloud Cuckoo Land .  And now right into the 21st Century we have founded ourselves a brand-new Gotham City not dissimilar to Apartheid.  Freebies at the expense of the less fortunate among our fellow citizens!
Miss Mertho Matanje (taller of the maidens) and Blog Author's first-born child for 19 solid years denied her South African citizenship for no main reason except that her father is neither Xhosa nor Zulu. Unbeknown to the new racists of South Africa, Mertho Matanje is a direct descendant of the South African chapter of the Pharaohs/Phiris that ruled the entire Continent and the world throughout the stone age... colonizers of South Africa treating natives like Phiri/Pharaoh like dirt and when you speak out you are hunted down by riflemen ordered by no less than Head of State!  So much for Mzansi's democracy! Mertho Matanje lives in the United Republic of Tanzania.

Finally, and if at the scientific level: the reference to South Africa as "Mzansi" is as asinine as the current convention of defining "African" for a South African only in reference to a member of the Bantu, the Khoi or San and locking out millions of Africans just because they have European or Asian ancestry.  This sort of dichotomy does not happen anywhere else in the world (except of course in this, my motherland 'Mzansi') and I still need someone to tell me why we tolerate this stupid political cruelty on us as Nation South Africa.

However, to come back to our famous (rather infamous) word Mzansi (in Zulu Language) and Bondeni (in Swahili Language) all in reference to South Africa, THERE IS NO SCIENTIFIC BASIS WHATSOEVER THAT LENDS ITSELF TO THE NOTION AND INDEED MYTH THAT "THE SOUTH IS THE BOTTOM AND THE NORTH IS THE TOP" SINCE THE GRAVITATIONAL FORCE OF THE EARTH PULLS NOT TO THE SOUTH RATHER TO THE CENTRE OF THE GLOBE AS SIR ISAAC NEWTON  DISCOVERED THE FACT CENTURIES AGO. Indeed, the globe pulls a man in South Africa towards the selfsame centre as it pulls a man in France or Russia.

So, whoever you are, stop this epithetical nonsense of referring to my land as "Mzansi", "Bondeni", "Land Awash With Cannibals/Ningizimu Afrika". For goodness'sake: GIVE MY COUNTRY ITS ORIGINAL NAME PLEASE, AND YOU KNOW THAT NAME O SO VERY WELL!

Failing which, this country will not remain at the bottom of mzansi, but will sink down the deeper nadir; will curl up and finally collapse into a self-determined national suicide down what we have predestined for ourselves: "the abyss ", "the  Bottomless Pit" or (and now for those who struggle with the English and can only engage politically if the medium is their Zulu mother tongue),  "Kwa-Lasha", which are all words to cohabit the same page of any Engish-Zulu thesaurus.

If in effect a land is ruled by its collective intelligentsia rather than the veneer of politicking prior to elections, let us stop and think sometimes that it is not everything that our nation has been doing or just saying as such that will help her grow self-respecting and respected among other nations of the world.

We need to guard against the things we say in jest about ourselves as Nation South Africa.  Wake-up calls about things that harm us or merely do us a national disservice, I pray, should not be spurned. Rather, I plead, they should meet a dispassionate assay fuelled by thinking South Africans rather than political animals even where such animals may also claim to be thinkers.

Unless this happens too for my country and my people South Africa, what we see in Mzansi can indeed only be a one-way free ticket gravitating willy-nilly towards and then down The Abyss/kwalasha.  The results of this case would remain the same even if fate were to enact it on Planet Mars.  The point is: no member of the global human species so supreme (let alone 50 million of them) can continue indefinitely to be subjected to a rule by ignoramuses ! And if we were Martians I am sure we would have long been decapitated just for the term "Mzansi" alone! Survivors would only be those self-same ignoramuses who in any case fail to differentiate between Sci-fi and South African events!

And please don't let me write another blogpost now answering the conundrum: "Why Bad Things Happen To Good People".  They cannot be good enough when they let things slide for their own nation if only for the purpose of preserving their own individual even tone of life!

Thank you!
