ANY KWEREKWERE FREEDOM FIGHTER WORTHY EVEN A STREET NAME MR ZUMA?

FRIENDS SEPARATED BY POLITICIANS MANDELA AND ZUMA  :A  picture of  two beautiful African women. Definitely I think they are beautiful because of the two is my wife and if I were as highly-sexed as Jacob Zuma (if not moneyed too at State expense) I would have both of them named "Mrs Phiri" wouldn't you too have done the same.  Anyway, Can you guess what ethnic group either woman belongs  to? Is it important  to worry about individuals' racial identity particularly where those individuals are apparently bosom friends? I don't think so!  But Politicians Nelson Mandela and protege Jacob Zuma think it most important to separate these two friendly women (One of them Swazi-speaking and the other one Xhosa-speaking) along tribal lines.  All street names in South Africa and cities are currently by Jacob Zuma being named after the one girl's ancestors (co-Xhosa-speakers with Nelson Mandela of course) while there is not one single street known to Blogger named after the other (Swazi-speaking girl's ancestors, not even ONE SINGLE  street after even Swazi Queen Mother Labotsibeni which woman is the one and only person who made it possible for the ANC to be born 100 years ago this 2012). Jacob Zuma, an indoctrinated man, it seems, is busy singing praises to Nelson Mandela without any ability to see the damage Nelson Mandela has caused in South Africa on issues of race by means of bringing a new dimension viz. tribalism to a problem created in 1948 by Mandela's Settler-Colonial Counterpart: Hendrik Verwoerd and Father of Apartheid). Now every Department of a Zuma-run-State, particularly the Department of Defence and Veterans Affairs where us veterans are in fact hunted as was the case in exile's Dakawa Camp and others by Jacob Zuma's armed hooligans like we were game... all those departments are fraught with the canker of black racism pro-Mandela where the elderly Politician Mandela's relatives like Zuma's idea of SANDF Ombudsman (one Temba Templeton Matanzima) are terrorizing us veterans with the say-so of lawless Mandela-yes-man Jacob Zuma!

Two non-South-Africans (from Swaziland and Malawi) who, together with ANC Arch-Founder South African Dr Pixley ka-Isaka Seme [by affinity Second Maternal Cousin Removed to Blogger and Writer Goodman Manyanya Phiri] created our freedom.

The woman is Kingdom of Swaziland’s Her Majesty Labotsibeni Gwamile LaMdluli-Dlamini (and a great-aunt to Rex, King Mswati III). HAIL, YOUR MAJESTY LA-MDLULI!

The man in pictures is Malawian Clements Kadallie.  Yet, all obviously per apparent orders of xenophobic and racist-minded Jacob Zuma and Master Mr Nelson Mandela, Not  One Street-Name  Exists In South Africa In The Name Of Either Pictured Stalwart”

LE T  US REFLECT  AND LOOK BACK IN TO HIS TORY

South Africa would not be a sovereign democracy without the contribution of non-South-African nationals like Malawians and Swaziland citizens. Besides, refuge for freedom fighters was best given by African nations like Tanzania. Yet Jacob Zuma and Nelson Mandela (among others) have made it their point to practice unconstitutional xenophobia against fellow-South Africans like Phiri for the little relationship the latter might have with Tanzania, Swaziland, Malawi etc.

For the uninitiated “Kwerekwere” is Mandelasque-Xhosa-racist South Africa’s reference to citizens of neighbouring African countries like Swaziland, Mozambique, Botswana, Lesotho and other countries further north. Too many analysts were thinking though that xenophobia is a function of the vulgar and the povo and non-politicized populace, but I am sure as reader of my blogs you know better than to distance Jacob Zuma and his mentor Nelson Mandela from the canker of xenophobia where, for them, even fellow South Africans of ethnicity other than Xhosa are looked down upon and oppressed in a Zuma-led democracy that has reduced the land’s constitution and other laws to a mere scrap of paper

It is for me (Goodman Manyanya Phiri) a very surreal experience I have been going through at the hands of South Africa’s xenophobes like Jacob Zuma, surreal because I happen to be of mixed parentage of two of the most important nations (Malawi and Swaziland) that gave sons and daughters who ended up building South African freedom from settler colonialism.

If you think of Swazi Queenmother Labotsibeni’s contribution to the founding of the ANC, the ANC would not have come into being without her.   If you think of Malawian Clements Kadallie, workers conscientization would not have happened in South Africa.

In any civilized society or nation of the world you will be greeted by both industrial and political capital cities announcing the particular nation’s sense of recognition of non-nationals who helped that particular nation achieve great things like South Africa’s liberation from European Settler Colonialism a.k.a. Apartheid.  For an example, Tanzania’s arguably most important street in the country’s industrial capital is named after not a national but rather after Ghanaian Kwame Nkrumah!

So, what you would therefore expect in South Africa (if only we were even half-educated which of course we are not with the Zumas in their lack of education busy praising the cult of the personality of one Xhosa-speaking Nelson Mandela) is to see some street, hospital, city, suburb, national institution etc. so named after the Kingdom of Swaziland’s woman who singlehandedly materially  formed South Africa’s African National Congress-ANC ruling party now misruled by Zuma for Mandelasque-Xhosa racism, AND THAT WOMAN’S NAME IS LABOTSIBENI.  Yet for Jacob Zuma and Mandela’s disciple women are good for nothing else but for one-night stands in unprotected sex notwithstanding their positive HIV status.

What you would expect in South Africa is to see street names after Malawian Clements Kadallie.

Text-book character assassination so much so that even his progeny has fallen snugly into the beliefs made truth by the assassins that “Malawian Kadallie was nothing for South Africa but a skirt-chaser” as if Mandela and Zuma are man-eaters rather than skirt-chasers worse than Kadallie.  All the good that Kadallie and other non-South-Africans ever did for this land is forgotten.  Text-book character assassination indeed!

I wonder how the world will view our plight as South Africans if we continue to be led by xenophobic characters like Zuma and predecessors (Mandela and Mbeki).    South Africa’s endemic Mandelasque-Xhosa xenophobia in high places is the more a reason why we should kick Yesman Zuma out come December 2012!

How many people know who Dr Fabian Ribeiro of Mamelodi was? I mean that medical doctor whose house was bombed to have him and his family killed.

I suspect he was Mozambican and that is why the Zumas care not about him even though he paid the supreme sacrifice for our liberation against apartheid.

Yet the same Zumas, in order to cement the lie  South Africa “was liberated by Mandela and his fellow Xhosa speakers” will not only get the name of an obscure Xhosa-speaking lawyer who worked in Durban,  but they will build a monument for him in  a Pretorian national organization.  They will name municipalities after Xhosa-speakers in provinces where no such Xhosa had any influence be it national or personal, and yet there is no municipality in the Eastern Cape named after a non-Eastern-Caper “because Mandela and his and his Xhosa speaking race are the ones and only ones who fought for freedom”.

Who, exactly still remembers who the ethnic Swazi Tsietsie Mashinini was?  Where is a street, Mr. Zuma, named after your fellow prisoner, Mr. Zuma (and you know him very well since he was the longest serving political prisoner in South African history) is ex-Atteridgeville-Pretoria school teacher ethnic Pedi speaker Jeff Masemola.

Some readers may argue “But these people Mr. Phiri were not members of the ruling party, nor was Masemola, nor was Mashinini!”

My argument is “No Sirs, No Mesdames, Labotsibeni was arch-ANC and yet her name has been obliterated in order to aggrandize Mandela and his fellow Xhosa–speakers based on an ANC history that is a lie of the Jacob Zumas.

MORE ON LABOTSIBENI AND HOW PHIRI RELATES WITH THE SWAZI MATERIAL FOUNDERS OF 1912 AFRICAN NATIONAL CONGRESS

Common Ancestor: Somhlolo, better known Sobhuza I (His Majesty is Phiri’s maternal 3rd great-grandfather)

Two of Sobhuza’s sons, King Mswati II and brother Prince Khenkhana  are of significance here because Khenkhana (born by Sobhuza via Inkhosikati LaTfwala) is Phiri’s maternal 2nd great-grandfather while of course, Mswati II is Phiri’s 3rd- Great-Uncle.

Prince Khenkhana is a co-founder of Emjindini Royal Residence in Barberton.

Indeed, a tourist attraction in the neighbourhood (Shiyalongubo Dam) serves as only one of the reminders to the long trek of Swazi Prince Khenkhana and family from the Swazi Palace deep in present-day Swaziland to what was to be Emjindini/Barberton.

On closer scrutiny, “Shiyalongubo” I Shiyalongubo Dam is the European settlers’ bastardization and corruption of the true Swazi name of the place being “Shangubo”.
My ancestors tell me it was very cold when they from present-day Swaziland bivouacked in the neighbourhood of present-day Shiyangubo Dam and they had to light some fires in order to keep themselves warm en route to Barberton.  But then sleep overtook them, and some or most of their clothing caught fire as a result “sha-” is “burn”, and “-ngubo” is “clothing”; “shiya-” means “abandon” which is, per European mistakes in recording African history, is not the true historical meaning or name of the place.  As Blogger I still appreciate what little effort the strangers from Europe made though to record the African trek of the royals from the Swazi Palace to Emjindini (later named Barberton by the self-same Europeans).

The two brothers (Mswati and Khenkhana) begot children who are first cousins, of course.  The most relevant for this account respectively bear names of Mbandzeni and Sigeyeza.

Prince Sigeyeza is Phiri’s maternal great-grandfather; and if you know your English genealogical reference, this makes Swazi King Mbandzeni “First-Cousin thrice removed”.

Now it is the wife to Mbandzeni (Her Majesty Gwamile LaMdluli Labotsibeni) who gave countless material support to Zuluman and son-in-law Dr Pixley ka-Isaka Seme in order that in 1912 the ANC can be formed. Thereafter, my maternal first-cousin-by-affinity Labotsibeni gave an extra 200 cattle to be sold by the ANC for the purpose of financing the existence reportedly till the forties of  ANC mouthpiece (the magazine “Abantu/Batho”) and romantically speaking, maybe that is why I Phiri am a journalist first before being a military officer per profession but still for that career I must thank my political party, Pan Africanist Congress of Azania, particularly its erstwhile leader Swazi/Shangaan-speaking Johnson Mlambo who chose that career for me the moment he read my reportage on human-rights abuses committed in Dakawa Tanzania by Jacob Zuma and other racists pro-Eastern-Cape’s Xhosa-speaker few individuals who are busy corrupting today the Department of Defence and Veterans Affairs with Zuma’s nod).

Prince Sigeyeza Dlamini of Barberton/Emjindini Royal Residence begot Princess Eleanor Mafede Nkhosi via a Mthupha maiden (there are a couple of Mthuphas in Nelspruit even Nelspruit’s Pienaar today).  The princess is Phiri’s maternal grandmother whose loins are the place where Phiri in the 1930s started his earthly life since, if you know your biology well, your first form of life takes shape NOT IN YOUR MOTHER but in your maternal grandmother seeing that your mother is born with all the gametes that could ever be her own children!

Princess Eleanor Mafede Nkhosi became Mrs Mavimbela and begot mother to Phiri, the future Mrs Belinda Thokozile Mavimbela!

So, where some of my readers may argue “But these people Mr. Phiri were not members of the ruling party, nor was Masemola, nor was Mashinini!”

My argument is will always remain: “No Sirs, No Mesdames, Labotsibeni was arch-ANC and yet her name has been obliterated in order to aggrandize Mandela and his fellow Xhosa–speakers based on an ANC history that is a lie criminally perpetrated by  the naïve Jacob Zumas.

I say: “No Sirs, No Mesdames, Xhosa–speaker Steve Biko (for an example) was per my best knowledge not an ANC member and yet for his Xhosa-speak identity he has received sufficient- some say too much - recognition, in South African national symbols, even symbols for which he had nothing to do with.  It is all like naming “Baragwanath Hospital” after a “Chris Hani” who was neither a doctor nor a resident of Soweto;  Of course Chris Hani was Xhosa speaking!
